Course Preview
The 162km race starts in Beersel and features no fewer than 21 climbs. From the start, the peloton will head towards Lennik before returning via Beersel to the finish town of Overijse, where the steep climbs that define De Brabantse Pijl await. From Overijse, the riders will complete three laps of approximately 20km that each include the climbs of Hertstraat, Moskesstraat, Holstheide, and S-bocht Overijse.
The climbs are evenly spaced throughout the route. Within the opening kilometers, the riders will tackle the Alsemberg (156.6km) and Bruineput (148.8km). There’s a brief lull before the Beerselberg (113.5km) and a second passage over the Bruineput (107.km).
The final run towards Overijse then takes in Eikenbrakelsesteenweg (101.7km), Chemin dit le Bois (95.2km) and Rue François Dubois (78.5km). The riders then enter the finish circuit prior to the Holstheide (66.7km), which is followed by S-bocht Overijse (59.6km) and, 200 meters later, the finish line. Both of these climbs will be tackled four times.
The next two climbs on the circuit are the cobbled Hertstraat (55km) and Moskesstraat (49.9km), the latter averaging 9.2% for 500m. These ascents are quickly followed by further passages over the Holstheide and S-bocht Overijse.
The start time is scheduled for 13:30 CET, with the finish estimated for 17:09.
