On Friday, we will see edition 65 of the Brabantse Pijl – or Brabant Arrow in English. The race takes place in the Belgian provinces of Flemish Brabant and Walloon Brabant, located southeast of Brussels. The 162.6-kilometer route features a dizzying number of climbs – 21, to be precise.
Benoît Cosnefroy won last year’s edition ahead of Dylan Teuns and Tim Wellens.
Brabantse Pijl dates back to 1961. Originally, it was a race for cobble specialists, but in recent years, the parcours has become more hill-oriented.
