Merlier wins Brugge De Panne
Tim Merlier (Alpecin-Fenix) sprinted to the win today at the unofficially dubbed "sprinter world championships" or the Brugge-De Panne after 207km of racing along the flat Belgian marshland. Second place was Dylan Groenewegen (Team BikeExchange-Jayco). Nacer Bouhanni (Cofidis) took third after a photo finish had to determine the first two across the line.
It marks the third win of Merlier's 2022 season.
