The penultimate stage of the Tour de France is a 36 km time trial, culminating on the brutal La Planche des Belles Filles. The Vosges mountain is 5.9 kilometres long and has a 8.5 percent gradient. This will be the final GC test to determine the overall, and the organisers have made it so no one can hide during this race against the clock.
