A grand battle amongst GC contenders and climbers hoping for that elusive stage win is on tap for stage 15. With three testing climbs along the 175 km route, the big test comes on atop the Grand Colombier, where a winner will be decided. The Grand Colombier is 17.4 kilometres, and gains an elevation of 1,244 metres. It's average gradient is a burning 7.1 percent with pitches maxing at 12 percent.
