The GC contenders will need to bring their A game to stage 13, which is a testing 191 km mountain stage. Starting in Châtel-Guyon, the route boasts a 4.400 metre total elevation gain (the most elevation gain the riders will endure this entire tour) and finishes on the Puy Mary, an extinct volcano.
