Course Preview
This Saturday, August 29th, the 7th edition of La Course is played out on a hilly circuit in and around Nice. The women are ransacking the first circuit of the Tour de France before the men. The race is 96 kilometres long and features two times the Côte de Rimiez climb.
The first three editions of La Course were a circuit race on the Champs-Élysées in Paris. Marianne Vos (2014), Anna van der Breggen (2015) and Chloe Hosking (2016) took the spoils before the 2017 edition saw a mountain stage to the Col d’Izoard followed by a pursuit race in Marseille, while La Course served a high mountain race in the Alps in 2018. These two editions were won by Annemiek van Vleuten, while Marianne Vos won last year’s hilly circuit-race in Pau.\n
