Wout van Aert (TVL) took his second victory in three days when he proved quickest of a five-man breakaway group that contested the finish in Córdoba.
After Van Aert had chased down several attacks going into the final kilometre, Thibau Nys (LTK) led out the sprint with 250m to the line, but had no answer when his Belgian compatriot powered by to take the win. Alessandro Romele (XAT) came past Nys for second place, with Nys third ahead of Ramses Debruyne (APT) and Andreas Leknessund (UXM).
