2026 Tour de France Stage 15 Results & Recap
Stage 15 of the 2026 Tour de France is in the books. The final results and standings are below, followed by our recap of how the race unfolded.

Remco Evenepoel (RBH) took his first road stage victory at the Tour de France when he outwitted and outsprinted UAE Team Emirates XRG duo Tadej Pogačar (UEX) and Isaac Del Toro (UEX) in the final metres at the summit finish of Plateau de Solaison. Pogačar finished on the Belgian's wheel in second place, while Del Toro was a few seconds back in third.
The big news of the day, though, was the abandon of second-placed Jonas Vingegaard (TVL). The Dane crashed as the yellow jersey group negotiated a mini-roundabout coming down a slight descent. Fourth in line behind three teammates, Vingegaard slid into the roadside kerb and was left sitting in the gutter. Several other riders went down behind him including Del Toro and Felix Großschartner (UEX), but they were all quickly racing again.
After receiving attention from medical staff, Vingegaard managed to make his way into an ambulance, holding his right arm as he did so.
The incident happened not long before the bunch reached the final climb. Once on it, Red Bull - BORA - hansgrohe set a fierce pace, shredding the yellow jersey group. It was reduced to just six riders – Pogačar, Del Toro, Evenepoel, Paul Seixas (DCT), Florian Lipowitz (RBH) and Juan Ayuso (LTK) – and then divided into two halves, as the latter trio lost ground.
Having caught and dropped Quinn Simmons (LTK), the last survivor of the day's breakaway, Evenepoel, Del Toro and Pogačar finished close to a minute ahead of their GC rivals.
