Course Preview
After the 2025 edition went without an individual time trial, the discipline returns with a 21-kilometer race against the clock through Burgundy. The course begins in Gevrey-Chambertin and initially favors riders who can settle quickly into an aerodynamic rhythm. The terrain becomes more demanding near the midpoint, where the specialists face a 1.8-kilometer climb to Marsannay-la-Côte averaging 6.9%, followed by another rise of nearly a kilometer at 4% toward Corcelles-les-Monts. From there, the final nine kilometers are rolling and largely downhill into Dijon. The stage should produce meaningful time gaps and provide the first clear picture of the riders capable of winning the overall title.
