2025 Tour de Suisse Women Stage 4 Results & Recap
Stage 4 of the 2025 Tour de Suisse Women is in the books. The final results and standings are below, followed by our recap of how the race unfolded.
Race Recap
Marlen Reusser won the Tour de Suisse Women for the second time today. The Swiss rider attacked on the Michaelskreuzstrasse with 9.5km to go, dropped both Demi Vollering and Kasia Niewiadoma-Phinney, and crossed the line in Küssnacht 28 seconds clear to seal the general classification in style.
The final stage was a 129.4km circuit starting and finishing in Küssnacht, incorporating two laps of a course that featured the Adligenwilerstrasse and the steep Michaelskreuzstrasse, with a longer flat loop around Lakes Zug, Lauerz and Luzern in between. Marta Lach (SD Worx-Protime) led the peloton over the first QOM to claim the mountains jersey. A five-rider breakaway escaped but reduced to solo attacker Fariba Hashimi (Ceratizit), who crested the Michaelskreuzstrasse less than 30 seconds clear on the final circuit before the peloton swept her up.
Reusser set the pace on the final ascent, and after the descent she went — a clean, decisive acceleration. Vollering hesitated, looking to Niewiadoma-Phinney to respond first. That moment of hesitation was fatal. Reusser didn't come back. She crossed alone, raised her arms, and the crowd erupted for a Swiss winner on Swiss roads. Niewiadoma-Phinney beat Vollering in the sprint for second, 28 seconds back. Final GC: Reusser, Vollering at 36 seconds, Niewiadoma-Phinney at 1:56.
