Pogacar Powers to Stage 13 Victory, Extends Lead in Yellow
Tadej Pogacar delivered yet another dominant performance on Stage 13, winning the 23 km individual time trial with a time of 23:00, 36 seconds ahead of Jonas Vingegaard. The victory extends Pogacar's grip on the yellow jersey as the race heads into its final week.
Primoz Roglic claimed third, 1:20 down, while Florian Lipowitz and Luke Plapp rounded out the top five. American Matteo Jorgenson finished sixth, holding pace early before fading slightly on the final climb.
Pogacar led at every time check, clocking 5:28 at km 4 and 14:23 at km 7.6, steadily increasing his margin over his GC rivals. Remco Evenepoel, second fastest at the first time check, faded to finish outside the top 10, 2:39 behind Pogacar.
In the general classification, Pogacar now leads Vingegaard by a solid margin, with Evenepoel slipping further behind in third. Florian Lipowitz and Oscar Onley remain in the top five, while Roglic climbs to seventh overall.
