Welcome to our live coverage of Stage 4 of the 2025 Tour de France Femmes! Our live profile and commentary are below, followed by a preview of the technical aspects of the route.
Course Preview
At 128 kilometers and with just 700 meters of climbing, the riders travel from Saumur to Poitiers during the 4th stage of the Tour de Femmes. A bunch sprint is almost certain.
The elevation gain mainly comes from false flat sections, with only one small climb. The CĂ´te de Marigny is a 900-meter stretch at 5.4%, tackled after nearly 100 kilometers.
The finish line replicates the one from the 2020 Tour de France for men, where Caleb Ewan won ahead of Sam Bennett and Wout van Aert.
Charlotte Kool was the most successful sprinter in last year’s Tour de France Femmes. She won the first two stages, both in her home country, the Netherlands.
