2025 Tirreno-Adriatico Stage 3 Results & Recap
Stage 3 of the 2025 Tirreno-Adriatico is in the books. The final results and standings are below, followed by our recap of how the race unfolded.

Vendrame Wins Sprint from Reduced Peloton, Ganna Retains Lead
It's wet in the Tirreno, and the riders spent a grueling 239 kilometers in the saddle. It all culminated in a chaotic finale, where Andrea Vendrame won the sprint ahead of Tom Pidcock and Romain Grégoire, while Filippo Ganna retained the leader's jersey.
Lorenzo Conforti and KOM leader Davide Bais launched an attack right after the start, creating a 6-minute gap.
Conforti secured the KOM sprint on the Passo del Lume Spento.
The attackers were caught well before the second climb of the day, La Foce. Conforti garnered the most KOM points at the summit again, while Jonathan Milan claimed the intermediate sprint in Castel del Piano. Shortly after, Dries De Bondt and Andrea Pietrobon broke away from the peloton, opening a gap of over 3 minutes.
Milan hit the ground at the foot of the Valico di Colfiorito when the gap was down to under 3 minutes.
Ben Healy surged away from the peloton inside the final 10 kilometers and caught the last attacker, Pietrobon. Romain Grégoire tracked down the Irishman before Mathieu van der Poel and Laurens De Plus bridged across. More riders rejoined them.
After the climb, with three kilometers to go, GC leader Filippo Ganna broke away. Mathieu van der Poel closed the gap, and following some skirmishes, it came down to a sprint. Andrea Vendrame took the victory ahead of Tom Pidcock and Romain Grégoire.
Ganna finished in tenth place to maintain his lead in the general classification.
