2025 Paris-Nice Stage 6 Results & Recap
Stage 6 of the 2025 Paris-Nice is in the books. The final results and standings are below, followed by our recap of how the race unfolded.

Pedersen Wins Stage 4
In an icy, echelon-marked stage, it came down to a sprint from a small peloton. Mads Pedersen edged out Joshua Tarling, while Matteo Jorgenson strengthened his lead. Florian Lipowitz remained in second, and Mattias Skjelmose moved up to third.
Thomas Gachignard launched the first attack, and when RĂ©mi Cavagna rode across to him, the two of them put the peloton 2 minutes down. Jakub Otruba tracked the two down and the gap widened to 3 minutes.
The breakaway initiator, Gachignard, called it a day halfway through and waited for the peloton. Later, Otruba also decided he’d had enough.
Cavagna was riding around three minutes ahead of the peloton when the pack split into echelons inside the last 50 kilometres. Race leader Jorgenson and second-placed Lipowitz were in the first group, third-placed Almeida was not. Mads Pedersen was the only sprinter in the first group.
They gobbled up the lone attacker, with the second group chasing at over 1 minute, and the gap widened gradually.
Matteo Jorgenson wins the intermediate sprint in Lançon-Provence ahead of Mattias Skjelmose and Florian Lipowitz, extending his lead with the time bonus.
As the chase group does not come back into play, Mads Pdersen is the big aourite o the steg win. He opens the spint early, but Joshua Tarling doesn’t give up and almost makes it. The Dane comes out on top, though, but it’s by the smallest of margins.
Jorgenson retains the yellow jersey, 40 seconds ahead of Lipowitz and 59 seconds ahead of the new third-placed rider, Skjelmose.
