Hoole Wins Stage 10
Stage 10 of the 2025 Giro d'Italia saw Dutch rider Daan Hoole (Lidl-Trek) secure his first Grand Tour stage victory by winning the 28.6 km individual time trial from Lucca to Pisa in 32 minutes and 30 seconds. British cyclists Joshua Tarling and Ethan Hayter finished second and third, respectively.
Despite finishing 36th on the stage, Isaac Del Toro (UAE Team Emirates) retained the pink jersey, though his lead narrowed to 25 seconds over teammate Juan Ayuso, who delivered a strong performance under challenging conditions. Primož Roglič (Red Bull-Bora-Hansgrohe) jumped to fifth overall and is now 1:18 behind Del Toro after a solid time trial despite a pre-stage crash.
The general classification remains tightly contested as the race heads into Stage 11, a 186 km mountainous route from Viareggio to Castelnovo Ne' Monti. The stage features significant climbs that could shake up the GC standings.
