McNulty takes TT win
Brandon McNulty won today's 15.5km time trial with an outstanding performance that none of his rivals could best on a cold and wet day in Oron, Switzerland. The American TT champ was an early starter who luckily had the opportunity to finish his effort on dry roads while the GC riders raced under more dismal conditions as the day wore on.
McNulty took victory with a time of 20:06, 12.7 seconds faster than his compatriot Magnus Sheffield. Felix Großschartner (UAD) finished third with a time of 14:57.
McNulty's teammate Juan Ayuso took fourth and is now in the yellow jersey by seven seconds ahead of Ilan Van Wilder (SOQ). Aleksandr Vlasov (BOH) is third on GC, 10 seconds back.
