The last call on the Tour de France Femmes is an ITT with a start and finish in Pau. The route is 22 kilometres long and contains an altitude gain of 177 metres.

The climbing metres are crammed together in a small midway climb and the last 400 metres. The intermediate climb is 2.3 kilometres long and averaging 4.5%, while the climb to the line rises at 5.7%. The rest of the route is virtually flat.

The second half of the route is a copy of the La Course 2019-circuit, which was the predecessor of Tour de France Femmes in the period 2014-2021. The women tackled the lap five times. Marianne Vos took the spoils with a late attack from the bottom of the finish climb.

That day, the route of La Course was also used by the Tour de France for men. Wearing yellow, Julian Alaphilippe was on fire and he won the chrono race.

With its inaugural edition in 2022, the Tour de France for women is still young. This is the first ITT in its history.
