Race Recap
Roglič wins stage 4
Primož Roglič (TJV) took the win on stage 4 of the Vuelta a Espana. Mads Pedersen (TFS) was second after 153km of racing and Enric Mas (MOV) was third.
"It’s crazy [to have 10 stage wins in La Vuelta]. I’m super happy," Roglic said. "It’s really just the beginning of La Vuelta but it’s always better to be 10 seconds ahead rather than behind. It was already a hard pace the whole day, with a super fast and hard stage. The finale was an opportunity to fight for the stage win. I had the legs so I gave it a go. It was the plan to swap the leader’s jersey every day. Today was my turn and we’ll see what tomorrow brings."
Roglic took over the red jersey after the first stage in Spain.
