Race Recap
Sagan is back
Peter Sagan (TEN) won stage 3 of the Tour de Suisse today, outsprinting Bryan Coquard (COF) and Alexander Kristoff (IWG) into Grenchen, claiming his 18th career win at the Swiss Tour de France warm-up stage race.
“I told you already it’s hard to get back in a racing mood after my sickness and three months without racing – it just needs time,” he said at the finish. “It’s just a stage win, I’m happy for that and for the team, they did a great job on the front pulling all day. In the end, I made it, and I’m just happy about that.”
Stephen Williams (TBV) remains in the lead by six seconds ahead of Andreas Kron (LTS). Andreas Leknessund (DSM) is third at seven seconds.
