Teuns on top at Fleche Wallonne
Dylan Teuns (TBV) took home his first ever victory in any Classic event today after held off a late challenge by past former winner Alejandro Valverde (MOV) on the pivotal climb Mur de Huy. Aleksandr Vlasov (BOH) was two seconds behind to round out the podium. World champion Julian Alaphilippe trailed behind to finish just out of the medals.
Teuns came close to victory back in 2017, finishing in third. But today sealed the biggest win of the Belgian's career.
