Primoz Roglic immediately sets the record straight at the Tour of the Basque Country 2022. Winner of the last edition of the Spanish race, the Slovenian of the Jumbo-Visma in fact won in the inaugural time trial of Hondarribia, beating Remco Evenepoel (Quick-Step Alpha Vinyl) and thus also taking the first leader's jersey. The two were the only ones to complete the 7510 meters of the test in less than ten minutes relegating all the others to more than 16 seconds, starting with Remi Cavagna (Quick-Step Alpha Vinyl), who had previously set the best time. ahead of the pair of Ineos Grenadiers formed by Geraint Thomas and Adam Yates, respectively fourth and fifth of the day.
