Démare doubles in Scalea
Arnaud Démare (Groupama - FDJ) took his second win of this edition of the Giro d'Italia after a photo finish sprint against Caleb Ewan (Lotto Soudal). Mark Cavendish (Quick-Step Alpha Vinyl Team) took third.
Juan Pedro López (Trek - Segafredo) is still in pink after a pedestrian stage from Palmi to Scalea. Tomorrow we head to the mountains for a Friday the 13th showdown. The 196km stage, from Diamante to Potenza, starts at 11:40 a.m. CET.
