Démare wins in Cuneo
Arnaud Démare (GFC) sprinted to victory today at the Giro d'Italia after his team helped catch the original breakaway of four just moments before the line. The French sprinter outkicked Phil Bauhaus (TBV) and Mark Cavendish (QST) to take his third win at the corsa rosa.
Juan Pedro López (TFS) remains in the pink jersey yet another day. He sits 12 seconds ahead of Richard Carapaz (IGD) and João Almeida (UAD), which could all change by the end of the week when we head to the mountains for the real GC tests of the three week race.
