Course Preview

The long awaited women's road race is here! This year, the riders will take on five hilly laps of 28.8 kilometres, which will total 143km. Along the way, they'll climb an elevation total of 2,445 metres.

Just like in the time trial, the peloton will start and finish at Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari. Once out on course, the first climb they'll hit is the short, but steep climb at Via Mazzolano. It's an average of 8.7km and ramps up to 13 percent in places. After a few more rollers, the Cima Calisperna is the second kicker at an even steeper average gradient of almost 11 percent.

With three kilometres to go, the race re-enters the race track and has a false flat before the last 1.5 kilometres, which are totally flat. \n
