Course Preview
From a summit finish to a pan flat run along southern Italy's coastline with the Tyrrhenian Sea on the left, this 159 kilometer drag race up to Praia a Mare almost guarantees a sprint finish - for those who made it across the line in Etna before the time limit, that is. This is the only day besides the time trial and final stage that doesn't have any classified climbs, good news for whomever is wearing the Maglia Azzurra.
