Course Preview
This Giro d'Italia is all about making history, and this stage will do the same when it visits Tel Aviv, marking the first time a Grand Tour has been to the city. At 167 kilometres and relatively flat, this will be the first test for the sprinters. Only one categorised climb will make its presence known on this parcours, so we can expect to see a fight amongst the fast men for the right to be the first to wear the "maglia ciclamino' or points jersey.
