Course Preview
Totaling to 180.5 kilometres, the 2nd stage of the Critérium du Dauphiné kicks off in Montbrison and heads to Belleville in the Beaujolais region. The riders will roll along for 87.5 kilometres before they hit the first of five cols, the Col de Cambuse, which is five kilometres at 4.6 percent. The hills are all either categorised as 3 or 4 hardness and continue packed tightly together in the latter part of the race, but end with 30 kilometres to go when it's mostly downhill to the finish. Stage 2 starts at 11:50am local time with the 0km mark expected to start at noon.
