Course Preview
Stage 4 will play host to the first Italian stage of this year's Giro d'Italia. Starting in Catanzaro and traveling along the Tyrrhenian coast, the route will be fast until the final 70 km where it starts to get a little bumpy in Bonifati and San Pietro di Maierà. The last 15 km into Praia a Mara are suited for a late attack, so expect lots of last ditch attempts to break away solo. Praia a Mara is hosting the finish for the first time in the Giro.
