Course Preview
Stage 11 is another hilly stage that starts in Forli and finishes with 3 circuits in Imola. The finish will take place in the famous Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari, an auto racing circuit. The circuit is named after Ferrari's late founder Enzo and his son Dino.
The three KOM climbs along the way aren’t highly classified (two Cat. 3s and one Cat. 4), but it doesn’t mean they won’t be taxing on the riders halfway through the tour. The first intermediate sprint at Castrocaro Terme e Terra del Sole comes quite early in the race – at just 7.6 km. Borgo Tossignano hosts the next and last sprint of the day at the 81.4 km mark.
