André Greipel (Lotto-Belisol) finally took his first win of the 2013 Tour de France in Montpellier at the end of stage 6. The German got the perfect leadout from his team to beat Peter Sagan (Cannondale) by a clear bike's length. His compatriot Marcel Kittel (Argos-Shimano) finished in third with yesterday's winner Mark Cavendish (Omega Pharma Quick Step) having to settle for fourth.
Simon Gerrans (Orica-GreenEdge) had to hand his yellow jersey over to teammate Daryl Impey. The South African now becomes the first African to wear the Tourâ??s leader's jersey.
