If you are reading this, there is a very good chance you already know Tour Tracker. Since 2006, our award-winning Tour Tracker Pro Cycling app has been the go-to companion for fans following professional road racing on their phones — live timing, race data, and coverage of every major event on the calendar. We are proud of what that app has become, and we have no intention of slowing down on it.
But we have heard from a lot of you over the years who wanted somewhere to go on the web. Not to replace the app — nothing replaces the app for following a race live — but to have a home base. A place to read up on a race before it starts, check the results after it finishes, and follow along with a live ticker when you are at a desk rather than a phone. That is exactly what tourtrackerprocycling.com is here to be.
What You Will Find Here
Race previews. Before every event we cover, we will publish a preview with everything you need to understand what is coming — the route, the key climbs, the contenders, and what to watch for. Previews will include route maps and elevation profiles so you can see the shape of a race at a glance.
Recaps and results. When the racing is done, we will have full results and a written recap for every race we cover. No hunting around. Just come here and find out what happened.
A live ticker. During races, we will run a simple live ticker — key moments, time gaps, stage updates — so you can follow along from a browser. For deeper live coverage, including real-time data, timing, and everything else the app delivers, the links to our iPhone and Android apps will always be right there alongside it.
Reporting and analysis. Our team — Peter Cossins on the men's side and Clara Beard on the women's — will post regularly here with a higher-level view of the sport. Where the season is heading. What a result means in context. The stories behind the racing. Peter is one of the most respected voices in cycling journalism. Clara is a former US national champion who has spent more than a decade covering the sport for Tour Tracker and other cycling media. Between them, they know this sport as well as anyone writing about it today.
The App
This website is built around the Tour Tracker Pro Cycling app, and we want to be straightforward about that. The app is where the full experience lives — live race data, in-depth coverage, everything we have built over the years. And, honestly, how we pay our rent. This site is the companion: a free, open, web-based front door that brings you into the Tour Tracker world and, we hope, sends you to the app for more.
